Subject: question for Phil (Matera)
Excellent sound! Fabulous H2H!

Phil: you had the good sense not to isolate the drums in Good Lovin' in their own track. Why then, did you make the second part of the song (after the drums) a separate track?

So if I want to recreate the concert experience, I've got to become proficient with audio editing software to put all these pieces back into one seamless whole. But these shows began as (mostly) seamless reel-to-reel recordings.

Does this seem bass-ackwards to anyone?

Subject: Definitely not a bad show and a good recording,
but hardly a stellar performance.

this is a great copy. touched up close to perfection. if you want a fantastic sounding copy of an April '71 Dead show, then this is the one you want!!

Notes

This is a remastering of my first Grateful Dead concert. This was
the night that I *Got It!* and the night that I got on The Bus,
Forty years to the date!

I re-worked the show sometime back and as a celebration of my 40 years on the bus, well, I finally got around to releasing my
upgrade.
